Sarah L. Sirbasku. Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who received her Clinical Psychology doctorate from the University of Alabama (an APA approved program) in 2000, with a specialization in child clinical psychology. While completing her graduate studies at the University of Alabama, Dr. Sirbasku provided psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults (including therapy and assessment) in a variety of settings. These settings included community mental health centers, state hospitals, school districts, a children’s residential treatment center, and an outpatient treatment program for children and adolescents. Dr. Sirbasku received specialized training in autism spectrum disorders, including autism, Asperger’s Disorder, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. She served as a therapist and diagnostician for 5 years at the University of Alabama Pervasive Developmental Disorders Clinic. Her specialized training included conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments, providing individual and family therapy services to children and parents, conducting school consultations, conducting staff/teacher trainings, attending ARD/IEP meetings, training classroom aides, leading social skills groups, and leading parent support groups. Dr. Sirbasku is currently in private practice in Round Rock, Texas.
